The suspended ceiling grid system is available in both an exposed 15mm and 24mm grid system. Normally the 15mm ceiling grid, is built to house stepped edge ceiling tiles, whereby the 24mm ceiling grid will take either stepped edge ceiling tiles or square edge ceiling tiles.

The suspended ceiling grid that the ceiling tiles sit in, is available in a choice of different RAL colours;

White suspended ceiling grid is popular in most commercial interiors, as once combined with traditionally white suspended ceiling tiles it offers a high light reflectance and more seamless finish.

Black suspended ceiling grid is typically combined with black suspended ceiling tiles to offer a less traditional but more dramatic look. A finish typically used in both home and commercial cinemas, but now becoming increasingly popular both here in Shropshire and nationwide for retail clients who want a more contemporary look.

However dependant upon our clients wishes and tastes, Interior Design Ceilings also stock, gold mirror, brushed gold, silver mirror and brushed silver suspended ceiling grid.

For areas of high humidity, Interior Design Ceilings also stock an anti-corrosive suspended ceiling grid. That once combined with the correct ceiling tile, insures suspended ceilings are able to fitted in even the most extreme of environments, such as swimming pools, showers, changing rooms and saunas.

Mineral fibre ceiling tiles are popular in most office and retail environments. Mineral fibre ceiling tiles are available in numerous face patterns and edge details, dependant upon the clients budget and requirements.

Soft fibre ceiling tiles are typically used where there is a need for good acoustics within the room. Whilst typically the ceiling tiles are plain white, they are available in square edge and stepped edge.

Calcium silicate ceiling tiles are normally used with anti-corrosive suspended ceiling grid, to ensure that suspended ceilings in areas of high humidity are both corrosion and sag free.
